We wish to appoint talented architects with fluent Danish, initially in our London studio. Successful candidates will work on a range of projects including an urban planning commission for Levantkaj in Copenhagen.
The work on Levantkaj will be varied and will involve the development of a detailed masterplan as a single or a series of ‘Lokalplans’, the investigation of a wide range of building typologies to demonstrate the viability of the proposed blocks and the design of public spaces for the next stage of the development of Copenhagen’s North Harbour.
In the first instance we seek one or two architects who are fluent in Danish to work closely with the project partner, and to participate in the design team meetings and meetings with the client, By & Havn. Initially successful candidates will be employed in our London studio, however it will be necessary for project staff to spend some time in Copenhagen, and this may develop into a more permanent arrangement.
These roles provide an opportunity to become involved in a significant project for the next stage of development of Copenhagen’s North Harbour.
Experienced architect with more than 5 years experience, and preferably more than 10 years of experience working on projects of high design quality. The ideal candidate will be passionate about architecture and design and will have some experience of both urban design, and the design of buildings. The ability to demonstrate experience of working with large teams and clients and experience of leading projects is essential.
This position is likely to suit a fully qualified architect with up to 5 years of experience. They will be able to demonstrate experience of working on high quality design projects, and will have both talent and enthusiasm. Candidates should have awareness of a wide range of urban design and architectural references. A willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team will be essential qualities in a successful candidate.
Essential for both positions:
Fluent In Danish (to the standard of a native speaker)
Ability to write / contribute to reports in Danish
Fluent in English
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to work in Autocad
Salary dependent on experience.
