This house, overlooking Gleneagles golf course, presents itself as a rendered upper agglomeration of forms with open aspect to the primary views, elevated above a dense arrangement of dark brick walls which ground the house to the landscape. The ground floor, characterised with darker finishes, houses 4 bedrooms, some utility spaces and generous circulation and living space with views out over the private garden.
The upper level is lighter and loftier, addressing the views over the golf–course to distant mountains. The eroded form of the upper block is smaller in area than the base, thereby creating a series of external terraces.
